These 20 sixteen-patch blocks of half-square triangles (with 640 half-square triangles total) were sewn with only 107 easy straight seams total using my tube piecing technique.

For strip width 2.5", the scooting offset is 2", and the tube width is 2 + 13/16" (that is 2 + 3/4 + 1/16 in inches). The final width of squares will be 2 + 5/16". In this case we get 9 primary narrow tubes if the strips are cut from selvedge to selvedge.
