Rozanne Hawksley is a unique and remarkable artist who has a fascination for themes that encompass loss of life, sacrifice and ritual amongst many others. She talks openly about her inspirations, her artistic journey and her personal perspective. The interview shows much of her work in situ, from sketches capturing times of great anguish to 3 dimensional works in a range of materials. Her workshop is almost an installation in its own right and reflects her interests in materials which some find dark and disturbing but others find refreshing and uplifting. Rozanne's work is provocative but in the best sense of the word - it is thought provoking and challenges us to confront our conventional attitudes to the themes she explores and materials she uses.
