Sid Cross has the distinction of being the only Canadian inducted as a Membre D'Honneur of the L'Academie du vin de Bordeaux as well as being promoted to Officer status by the French government in the prestigous Ordre du Merite Agricole. He has been a culinary judge at the Olympic Gold Medal Plates in Vancouver and the Canadian Culinary Championships.
