Vectis Normal and Vectis Heroic guide! This Vectis guide will show you the Vectis abilities that you'll see in the Normal, Heroic and LFR versions of the Vectis fight. Mythic Vectis has additional mechanics not shown in this Normal and Heroic Vectis guide. The Vectis fight in Uldir is about controlling the spread of the blood plague- or more accurately, about making sure everyone plauged somewhat evenly. Vectis was previously called the Blood of G'huun on the Battle for Azeroth beta but got a name change midway through testing.
Vectis Tank Guide: Tank swap once the Evolving Affliction damage becomes too much. Three stacks is a good starting point.
The main mechanic of Vectis in Uldir is the Omega Vector, a blood plague. It'll start on several players at the beginning of the Vectis encounter, and more may be generated later in the fight. Omega Vector travels to a new host when it expires, and bounces around the raid endlessly. You cannot get rid of it. After Omega Vector expires, it leaves a stack of Lingering Infection which makes you more vulnerable to the Contagion raid damage that Vectis does. This fight involves lots of raid damage, and AOE healing will be required
Vectis will cast Gestate, which does damage and spawns a Plague Amalgam add. That needs to be swapped to and killed right away to stop it from continuing to cast Immunosuppression.
Vectis seems to swap between phase one and two on a timer rather than it being health-based. During Phase Two he becomes unattackable, Liquefies and fires out Blood Geyser. The hardest part of Vectis Phase Two is soaking the Plague Bomb (one player per ring) while also dodging the fast moving Blood Geyser.
