www.youtube.com/c/ParadisoSardegna The lighthouse of Capo Mannu located on the west coast of Sardinia in the upper Sinis is part of the municipality of San Vero Milis and is 22 km from Oristano. Activated by the Navy in 1960 under the regency of Capo San Marco at 69 meters s.l.m. it consists of a 11-meter-high square tower enclosed by a rectangular one-story building. Its fixed lens has a range of 11 miles. Adjacent to the lighthouse we find Torre Sa Mora built in 1639 that was built to ensure, together with other towers in the area, the defense of the salt pans of Oristano and the tonnara; placed at 34 m. above sea level, it included in its panorama all the Sinis and was in visual contact with the towers of Capo Mannu, Scala Sale and Sevo.
