For the impatient:

0:00 Introduction and background
4:20 Video processing and UI breakdown
12:47 Audio processing and UI breakdown
16:27 Various rants about performance
19:22 Live demo
21:48 Q&A

I edited and transcribed this video myself, so any desync problems or bad transition timings are all mine :-) Raw audio and video footage comes from the FOSDEM video team; slides (and the video produced during the live demo) have been spliced in from originals where possible, because the capture was awful and I wanted 16:9.

There are (hand-transcribed) subtitles available; I know I speak fast, so hopefully they should be useful in making things more understandable. I've also taken the liberty to correct some errors when they made things less clear. In the unlikely event that someone wants to make translations, I've opened up for external contributions, too.

Note that since this talk was held some time ago, some of the material in the Q&A is outdated. In particular, Nageru 1.2.0 and newer supports DeckLink's PCI cards and NVIDIA's proprietary GPU drivers, and Nageru 1.5.0 and newer supports HDMI/SDI output.
