thought I'd make a video about fire hooping since I was learning new things about it too. This is my fire hoop mama who came from Florida on her way up to a hoop camp. This was an event put on by hoopers of a particular county in a certain West Coast state. If you are on the West Coast and want to possibly join the facebook group to join events like this, just message me on youtube with what state you live in or what city and if you're close enough then I'll let you know the facebook group. They're kind of private at the moment.
hula hooping can be a great workout but there is a difference between a work out and a fun way to change your life other than just weight or appearance. Many people think hoop dance with fancy LED hoops at raves are only for younger kids but the hoop world just goes anywhere the music is good and the atmosphere is positive. This is a great hobby, a new fun exercise, and more than just a workout. It burns 420 calories an hour on the waist alone but 600+ if you can dance rapidly with it or if you get to intermediate level which is more than a popular machine at the gym ( the elliptical). Hoop dance can help you relieve stress, anxiety, depression. It can help you express yourself or find your confidence as well as release endorphins and seraonin. You become a better listener since (how I learn anyway) music becomes important. You can also learn about your own strengths. So who needs a boring, daily-fear workout when you can take hoops anywhere, plan or car. Isn't time you find time for you while still fitting in your exercise time? Hoop dance baby!
