This is a compilation of video clips showing animated objects in the Birmingham Cross-City South v1.4 and Watford Junction to Rugby routes being developed at, for the licence-free openBVE simulator, in development at

These routes are still in development, therefore some features shown are unfinished and subject to change or improvement; the most recent developments are featured first.

Animated features include pantograph sparking, vegetation swaying in the breeze and appearing to be disturbed by passing train turbulence, falling autumn leaves, animated birds and butterflies, working flashing aspects, animated pointwork (cosmetic only), animated people (early stages of work shown), passing trains (may not be included in the final release of the route), moving water, and swaying cables. The rainfall will hopefully be a built-in feature of future versions of openBVE rather than a scenery element as implemented here, and it may not feature in the final release of the route.
