40 years on, previously unseen footage of the first Moon Landing on Sunday July the 20th 1969.

The United States space agency NASA achieved the first manned landing on Earth's Moon as part of the Apollo 11 mission commanded by Neil Armstrong.
On July 20, 1969, lunar module Eagle landed on the surface of the Moon, carrying Neil Armstrong and Edwin A. "Buzz" Aldrin.
Armstrong was the first human to set foot on the moon and Aldrin the second. Michael Collins orbited above. In total they stayed approximately one day or to be more precise 21 hours 36 minutes on the lunar surface.

Apollo 11 was on the moon's surface for 21 hours and 36 minutes.

14 for 1 day, 9 hrs, 30 min
15 for 2 days, 18 hrs, 54 min
16 for 2 days, 23 hrs, 2 min
17 for 3 days, 2 hrs, 59 min.
