Jesus promised:
“Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in their midst.”
Jesus’ apostles:
“Every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.”

Ten recommendations for worship in tiny churches and cells:

1. Prepare well.
Delightful worship in small groups requires that you pray and plan thoughtfully.
2. Employ imitable methods.
Do everything in ways that others can imitate without professional skill or expensive equipment.
3. Share leadership.
Train others on the job to provide pastoral care during worship and during the week.
4. Teach obedience to Jesus.
Obey Jesus’ general commandments in every part of worship gatherings.
5. Let all participate actively.
Expect the Holy Spirit to help every member to speak or to sing in ways that help others.
6. Discover truth in the Bible.
Pose queries that others will answer by reading together a passage of the Holy Bible.
7. Pray for God’s help.
Have members report on their needs and let others pray together for God’s help and power.
8. Take of the Lord’s Supper.
Break the bread and take the cup, to remember Christ’s death to forgive believers’ sins.
9. Plan to reproduce.
Have members pray often that they may start new worship groups like this one.
10. Work within social networks.
Have members bring their own family and friends into new worship groups that fit their culture.

Allow tiny churches and cells to start new churches and cells, as soon as the Lord will allow. You may be surprised.
