San Juan College has articulation agreements with a number of four-year colleges and universities. These agreements detail how the courses you take as part of an associate's degree program here at San Juan College will transfer into a bachelor's degree program at the other institution.
For example, we have an agreement with New Mexico Highlands University for students in the Psychology AA program. If you complete all the general education and lower-division courses listed on the agreement, you'll transfer with full junior-level status into the Psychology BA degree program at New Mexico Highlands University. Through the articulation agreement, you'll get all the benefits of taking classes here at SJC: smaller classroom sizes, personalized attention from the faculty, and lower tuition rates.
All current articulation agreements are available for you to download on the transfer center website. They're set up as worksheets so you can track your courses and know that each course you take counts towards your associate's degree and transfer status.
