In this tutorial, we will see how to set different data access permissions to individual users in Cellica Database SOHO/Enterprise Edition.

You can assign permissions to a user for read-write or just read only data while adding user in "User Manager" module.

Set "User Type" to "ViewerPlus User", if you want to give both read and write permission from device to particular user. This user can view as well as update records on device.

Set "User Type" to "Viewer User", if you want to give read only access on device to user. This user can only view records on device.

You can control the home screen view of device side Cellica Database application by setting "Home Screen Preferences".

You can also set access permissions at "Profile Level".

While adding profile, on "Select User Page", click on "Sync Back" property. Here you can set record manipulation permissions of the selected user for current profile. You can set "Add/Edit/Delete" record permissions.
