The first track on Kaya's new mini album Bonjour! Chanson. This song is the japanese cover of the french song Aux Champs Elysées. I think it's so happy and cute. I love it. Here's what Kaya has to say about it: "This is a very famous song. The gorgeousness and brightness of this song is what makes it outstanding, isn't it! laugh In order to break the "dark/deep/formal" image of chanson, I've put this song with its extraordinary punch as the first song! A lot of translated text exists in one chanson song. In this instance I sang the most famous version of the lyrics translated by Yasu Kazumi, which also appear in textbooks and so on. By the way, the version I sang at Aoi Heya and the "shin-shuu chanson show", etc, was translated by Iwatani Tokiko. I was worried that I'd jumble the two sets of lyrics at lives＾＾； I sang it while calling to mind the appearance of someone heading towards town, and strolling down the main street in town♪ This is one song that I'd really like you to listen to when going out. You can hear the melodies of the Chiffon String Quartet here♪ I play the recorder in one phrase only, so try and find where♪ laugh"
