District heating pipes corrode mainly because of oxygen in the water. Membrane degassing is a very efficient, environmentally sound and space saving technology that removes oxygen as well as other gasses from the feed and makeup water without the use of chemicals.

Protecting pipes and hardware is a major concern for Skanderborg-Hørning District Heating in Denmark. Therefore they have installed a maintenance free membrane degassing unit from EUROWATER, and are very pleased with the result.

EUROWATER makes water treatment plants for waterworks and industry and has more than 80 years of experience.
