This is the future of online education. You may not live in Madison, but with 360-degree workshops from the UW Cart Lab, you are here!

Our online Master's is not only innovative and cutting edge, but we're going places and testing new teaching technologies other programs aren't talking about.

Do you have a Google Cardboard set? Are you likely to pick up a Samsung VR, Sony VR, or Oculus Rift this holiday season? Well, great news! Not only can you use these tools for entertainment but for virtual reality learning.

This is an alpha test. The lecture accidentally gets cut a bit short. For the full talk, in a traditional 2D presentation, please go here: .

What this 360-degree talk does offer, however, is a glimpse into how we're going to reinvent online GIS education. We want it to envelop you. Make you feel like you're here with us.

That's personalized learning at it's best!

Not one of our students yet? Curious about our department or online master's program?
