Deborah Adler is a designer, entrepreneur and mother of two. Her work is guided by the belief that meaningful innovation requires a deep understanding of the people at the heart of her design and the changing world that surrounds them. As the principal of DA Design, Deborah and her team pioneer self-initiated projects and work with clients to design experiences, change behaviors and improve outcomes. Prior to forming her firm, Deborah partnered with Target to develop the ClearRx prescription packaging system. This work resulted in a completely reinvented pharmacy experience. Deborah has worked closely with Milton Glaser, has been featured in New York magazine, Glamour magazine, and the NBC Nightly News. Additionally, her work is in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
