Life magazine dubbed it the "prairie chicken house." Others say it resembles a stoic bison on the plains. Designed by renowned architect Herb Greene and nestled in a field in east Norman, this symbol of organic modernism remained relatively hidden from the public for most of the past half-century, falling into disrepair.
