Handfed 25 to 30 day old Parakeet Babies.
from Birds N Cages http://www.birdsncages.com

Hand feeding baby parakeets or buggies can be a lot of fun but you do need a few things such as baby bird formula and handfeeding supplies.

Raising and hand feeding birds can take some time but it's exciting to see the process of them growing up and developing into full grown birds... Not to mention your pet bird will learn to trust you and will get attached to you wanting to be around you and letting you hold it which is pretty exciting for most.

Once you raise the baby bird you will not want to be apart. It's nice if you can keep them all, but if you have to give a few away, it is very important to plan ahead on finding good homes for them.

Make sure they can eat on their own and are ready to be away from the rest of the babies. Keep in mind, just because you know how to properly care for the birds, some people don't.

You'll need to provide bird care instructions to the future parent of your baby bird.
Proper Bird Cage size, bird toys, nutrition and basic bird care will need to be addressed.
