People Of YES! interview Doctor George Patterson on churches that multiply cell groups. (2nd ed. with corrected captions.)

"Cell churches" maintain three kinds of groups:

(1) Seeker groups. These are informal gatherings with a fastive atmosphere, in which

brand new believers explain to their friends and relatives how the have come to faith in

Jesus.

(2) Seeder groups. These are groups in which new believers are learning obedience to

basic commandments of Jesus: love for God and others, repentant faith, baptism, prayer,

the Lord's supper, giving and disciple making.

(3) Feeder groups. These are for mature believers who learn the Bible, operate

ministries and continually organize the first two kinds of groups.
