Joseph Conrad, well known for his novels only crewed one vessel during his time as a captain. This vessel was an iron barque called the Otago, and this film tells the story of how it came to Tasmania and about the remains which are located not far from the Bowen Bridge on the banks of the Derwent River.
This film was produced as part of a project for TasTAFE in Launceston during 2018.
