This video shows student perspectives about the Alternative Breaks@UCSD Program in La Jolla, CA at the University of California-San Diego.

This video serves to show three pillars that appear from the Alternative Break trips.

"Service" is what the students in the program perform. Quality service projects are performed in communities all around the world.

Students are exposed to a "Culture" of learning, exploring, educating, and serving. They see new things, experience cultures and languages, and see the world through a new lens.

Students go through a process of "Awakening" through intense week or two week service trips that happen nationally or internationally. They find their "call to service" and put faces to the social and economic problems that we face as global citizens.

This project was created because of UCSD's Sixth College Practicum Course Requirement, Culture, Art, & Technology, CAT 124: Social Challenge
