American Dream: Overland Expedition

The American Dream: Overland Expedition is a web-series that will be produced by me, a journalism student. This summer I will be traveling the nation for an internship. I will be filming rodeos, Lokar Car Show, Sam’s Garage and other things. I will also be filming content for this project. My vehicle/home for this will be my 2003 Ford Excursion 6.0L Diesel, if repairs are made in time. I will be traveling as many back/dirt roads, trails and parks while on an Overland Expedition across the United States. The goal of this web-series will be an analytical search to define what is an American, “The American Dream” and whether that dream is thriving or barely surviving. I will be producing an independent documentary on Social Media platforms to the best of my ability, searching for these answers and more. My goal is to do this by meeting and speaking to you, the American people. I want to tell your story and show the world who an American is.
