    Winemakers and winery principals from our Italian wine portfolio are coming to New York, Boston, Chicago and Denver to showcase their latest releases from five of Italy’s most prestigious wine growing regions: Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Piedmont, Tuscany, Umbria and Veneto.

    The Italian invasion will feature the newest additions to our portfolio, Arnaldo Caprai and Villa Russiz, along with wine estates Buglioni, Castello di Volpaia, Elvio Cogno, Prelius, Tenuta Campo di Sasso, Tenuta dei Pianali and Tenuta Sette Cieli. Local trade, media and consumers will meet the makers and taste through a range of extraordinary wines — including some rare and older vintage surprises — that express the diversity of this top wine-producing country.

  • Schramsberg Vineyards Play all

    In 1965, Jack and Jamie Davies established Schramsberg as a sparkling wine estate on the property originally founded in 1862 by German immigrant Jacob Schram. At a time when there were only 22 bonded wineries in Napa Valley and fewer than 100 acres of California vineyards planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, they set out to make world-class sparkling wine in the true méthode champenoise style. Theirs was the first California winery to provide a Blanc de Blancs in 1965 followed by a Blanc de Noirs in 1967. Now their son Hugh Davies, who was born the same year the Davies arrived at Schramsberg, leads the winery's management and wine making team.

    After working for years in the drinks industry, we struck out on our own to pursue our passion for beautifully handmade spirits. We call ourselves "sipsmiths" to celebrate the craft of distillation and our artisanal methods. We make our spirits by hand in small batches — just a few hundred bottles a time. We believe this is the only way to craft spirits of the highest quality. Inspired by the 200 years of London distilling history we have inherited, we balance modern technology with traditional recipes and techniques. We like to think that old meets new and the two get on really quite spectacularly.
