Scammers really get under my skin -- they produce nothing valuable or useful, add nothing to humanity and survive by preying upon the gullible and uneducated. If that weren't bad enough, they also manipulate people into not only falling for the scams themselves, but *protecting and defending* the scam and the scammers that run them. These "opportunities" invariably waste money, but sometimes they can do far worse -- alienating friends and family, isolating victims away from anyone who could help them escape the scam, and sometimes even ruining people's lives entirely.
One of my hobbies is busting scams wide open -- explaining how they work, why they're scams and how to avoid them. I find it deliciously entertaining when a scammer (or a supporter) emerges to defend a scam, because deep down they know they're lying, but they're so caught up in it they feel compelled to make fools of themselves anyway. This playlist highlights some of my meager efforts to spare people some wasted money and embarrassment resulting from participating in these scams. As for the defenders? Their embarrassment sustains me :)
