Dylan was enrolled in The War Amps Child Amputee (CHAMP) Program after he developed bacterial meningitis that resulted in multiple amputations. His parents have a message for donors: “It’s hard for us to put into words how grateful we are to supporters of the Key Tag Service. Without this, we wouldn’t be able to afford Dylan’s artificial limbs or have the support system that is our CHAMP family. We want you to know that your key tags really are at work for Dylan and so many other children like him.”
In the Winner's Circle Profile Series, we are able to feature not only the very special programs that The War Amps is able to offer to amputees and all Canadians but also to feature some of the families who have benefited from these programs. Each profile tells a positive story of success and reflects the unique "Winner's Circle" philosophy which has been part of The War Amps from the beginning.
