Dublin Port Riverfest is happening this June bank holiday weekend (30th May – 1st June) and we captured the spectacle of the Parade of Sail as the tall ships arrived from Dublin Bay. The beauty of the Johanna Lucretia, Kaskelot, Atyla, Maybe, Jean de la Lune and Spirit of Oysterhaven can be enjoyed weekend long with a jam packed programme of entertainment and family fun bringing the River Liffey to life.
The origin of Halloween is said to be found in Celtic Ireland making Dublin the perfect place to celebrate the famous holiday! As well as this, Bram Stoker - author of gothic novel Dracula - was born in the city, and Dubliners revel in celebrations of his work in the run up to October 31st. Check out www.visitdublin.com for more information on what to see and do in the city at Halloween.
