The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Advertising, Multimedia Journalism, Public Relations (AMP) Department is one of only four accredited Journalism programs in Wisconsin.  

Providing students with an education in new communication technologies while maintaining a commitment to the advancement of literacy and freedom of expression, the UW Oshkosh AMP department prepares students for tomorrow's digital media workplace. 

Students will focus on all types of media and utilize various forms of new and innovative technologies that promote creativity, visual conceptions, and written communication skills essential to success in the real world. 

The department offers five emphases that are designed to fulfill a wide variety of careers and interests.
