I started using Suno AI to produce songs that I had written and home-recorded ~25 years or so ago. I never heard them performed by anyone with real musical talent until I heard about Suno.

I have since "written" a couple of newer songs using Gemini and/or ChatGPT by giving it a hook or concept, then taking what it suggests and doing some heavy editing on that, then bringing that into Suno where I describe the style and instrumentation that I want.

I know that there is a strong pushback by many about anything AI, and with serious musicians, about AI music. To them, I say... relax. AI is not going to replace your enormous talent and all the years of hard work it took you to get there. People will always value what you do more. Recordings didn't replace live performances and AI is not going to make you worth less. If anything, it may make you worth more.
