This video tutorial playlist will teach beginner's how to hand embroider. Hand embroidery is a great way to embellish and can be used as a stand-alone design or added and combined with other crafts. Embroidery is fairly simple to learn, and since Bonnie is learning, she thought it would be great for you to learn along side her! So get out your embroidery supplies, and learn some basic stitches and design ideas....together.
Hand embroidery is an art that's been passed down, generation to generation. I'm sure you know someone who has embroidered tea towels their grandmothers embroidered or an heirloom hand embroidered quilt. Hand embroidery has been a long standing tradition. It's intricate and incredibly beautiful. It can make a rather dull item come to life! It's also incredible to see how the stitches are made, bringing a scene or landscape together in such an enticing and whimsical way.
We hope that you take a leap into the world of hand embroidery. If you find that you have any questions as you begin, please don't hesitate to ask in the comment section. We're more than happy to help out when we can - thanks for watching!
