Winner of two gold medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, Thomas narrowly missed qualification for the 2012 Olympic Games. His close friend, Joshua Jefferis was named as the sole gymnast to compete at the games and Thomas is travelling reserve should Joshua be unable to compete.
