The Hot Place, just finished recording its second album in 2023, the self-titled The Hot Place. The album was produced by Lisa King,(bass, vocals) and co-produced by Jeff Calder of the Swimming Pool Q's, (http://www.swimmingpoolqs.com/) and Jeff is also a member of the band, (guitar), Robert Schmid, also of the Q's, plays drums, and Mike Lynn, (Betty's Not A Vitamin, Unminded) plays guitar as well. Ed Stasium (Ramones, Talking Heads, Hoodoo Gurus, The Smithereens, Julian Cope) mixes 3 tracks on the album, and plays drums and keyboards on those songs. Track 4 features David J ( Bauhaus/Love and Rockets) on harmonica.
