Destiny - Solo Oryx Hard Mode Kill / Solo HM Oryx / Solo Heroic Oryx Kill / Oryx Solo HM. World 1st / First Kill of Solo Hard Mode Oryx. After the 335 update, a 335 Sleeper can stagger Oryx on HM which made it possible for a hard mode kill.

There's 2 primary strats being used for this, one was the double Fusion Grenade much like the normal version. I used the Firebolt/Sleeper shot which makes it a bit easier to group the Ogres for the 4 stack.
The primary difference from normal mode vs hard mode solo'ing is the speed in which you need to kill the ogres and detonate bombs. The light-eater knights come out extremely fast, meaning you have a very small window to get the bombs off before the knights eat them. While it may not seem like much, it contrasts greatly from normal as you have the time to let the bombs reset and jump into them much slower. Here you need to rush into bombs, which messes up bomb timing more often than not.
The Ogres health pools also don't work as nicely as normal mode did, requiring additional Primary shots in order to get their health low enough if you're using the Fusion Grenade strategy. This means you have to stay up top and shoot all 4 Ogres to get them lower before jumping down, making timing a lot more rushed. On Normal Mode the Sniper shots were enough to get them to the right health thresholds (where a single Primary shot would kill them).
Along with the ammo nerf for special, it makes ammo management a lot more difficult than before.
Requirements for this would be:
-335 Sleeper Simulant
-333-335 1000 Yard Stare with Triple Tap
-Starfire Protocol Chest (for extra Special Ammo, and if you're using the Fusion Grenade Strategy especially)
-Increased Sniper Ammo Boots
-Increased Sniper Reload Speed Gloves
It was a difficult challenge, spent ~20-25 hours working on this over the least week. Definitely a big step up from normal mode. Also to note, I had a closed chest for this and managed to kill it without an immune. I precharged and went as close to the edge as possible, aiming towards the top of him.
Would also like to give a shout out to the following players who have also been attempting this and developed a lot of different strategies that got this working (their Twitch Channel names below):
cl_rke - who also got the very first Final Stand on Hard Mode
Frostbyte3 - (TheGrreatGatsby) who got the second Final Stand for Hard Mode, and was the world first for Normal Mode

5 Sniper Shots?
This is from the Triple Tap weapon perk. 3 head shots quickly and you get a bonus round. This is essential for solo'ing Oryx.
15 Sleeper Ammo?
If you swap to a Y1 Starfire Protocol and use a Heavy Synth, the +Heavy Ammo and +Fusion Rifle stack to allow 15 bullets. If you then swap back to Y2, you keep the ammo.
Why i shot the ground so often?
This was to lure enemies into certain positions beneficial to the fight.
This isn't Hard Mode, I don't see any Knights?
02:45 is one of the many times you can see the Light-eater Knights. One swings at me when the Vessel is on the other side of the room, and shortly after you can see another running behind the Vessel (as shown here: http://i.imgur.com/fQIB2ig.jpg
). The Solo strategy is to kill the Ogres late and detonate the bombs before the Knights can get there, hence why you don't see all of them. Not to mention each time I die Oryx has 320 light, whereas on Normal Mode it has 300 light per death.
