Krishna Dewey asked me to write a song for Joy. And, it was a joy to make. I hope you will get a good feeling from this little inspirational offering. I told Chas (Williams); my wonderful session player/producer/engineer, to put a little Roger McGuinn (the Byrds) flavor in there, so all of you old hippies like me, will get a little of the old reminiscing spirit. Love.. that's where it's at. I wish it for you all..sharon Show less

I have been in the music industry, wife and mother, and in these later years have become an ardent meditator and yogi.
I follow the teachings of Yogananda and not so much established doctrines of Religion. I revere the lives of Saints of all Religions, and work on improving my consciousness vigorously; forging an inner energy flow that can penetrate the more subtle realms and intuitions. I am very much enthusiastic about existence in future-- having worked at bettering oneself while here. Specifically i have studied under Swami Kriyananda.

The song Calahoo was my first single, and this is a fun video of my cousin Granny's 50th birthday set to the music of that song.. we were raised there in the northern prairies of Calahoo Alberta in the 50s and 60s.. it was a great childhood.
Granny now owns a ranch Osoyoos, in the Okanagan Valley of BC
