A - There are four sources of funding for Sexplanations. The first is ad revenue but the amount is very small. We make about $190 per month mostly from YouTube Red. This is about $0.75 per hour for the two person team making the show. The second is sponsorships. The third is Patreon.com/sexplanations where audience members can pledge an amount per month to support the channel and get cool perks. And the last is merchandise sold through dftba.com.
