Serpent Band

Serpent are an original Irish metal band that love to play and write music! We just write music whatever way it comes to us. We call ourselves "Metal" because we all have different influences from the metal genre that influences our songwriting!
Founded in late 2011 by old friends David Purvis, Oran McGuckin and Charlie Farrell. After other bands didn't work out that we were in, we decided to search for a guitarist. Soon after Oran joined SRC Armagh he met Graham mc Kinstry who would later become the guitar player of Serpent. Having done several gigs with this lineup playing songs from our debut E.P. "Fear" which hadn't yet been recorded, the lineup came to an end with David Purvis leaving the band due to personal reasons. As we then avidly searched for a new guitarist we came across Connla Mullan who happened to be in a band with Graham prior to Serpent. With Connla joining Serpent this laid a strong foundation to the band and our E.P. was released in 2013.
