Home to some of the Denver Boy Scouts' finest camping programs, Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch is situated in the Black Forest area in Elbert, Colorado. With sweeping views of Pike's Peak and the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, Peaceful Valley is about a 1.5 hour drive from downtown Denver.
Peaceful Valley currently includes four camping programs, with a fifth to be added in the near future:
Camp Cris Dobbins, Camp Cortlandt Dietler, Camp Eagle Point, Magness Adventure Camp, and soon-to-be added Gates Outpost Camp. Part of a purchase of 700 acres of land on the south and east side of the Ranch, Gates Outpost Camp is currently under development. Plans include outpost camping with leadership opportunities for older Scouts.
