Australian pianist Samuel Dharma is the winner of numerous piano prizes, including first prize in the 2009 Rex Hobcroft Piano Competition in Sydney, Australia and the "Publikumspreis" at the 18.International Klaviersommer 2010 in Bad Bertrich, Germany. As a chamber musician, he garnered 2nd prize in the 2011 Glenn Gould School Chamber Music Competition in Toronto, Canada. Aside from competitions, Samuel has performed as soloist, recitalist and chamber musician to audiences in Australia, Europe, and North America. He has performed as soloist with the UNSW Orchestra on numerous occasions, working with conductors Steven Hillinger and Colin Piper. His performances have been broadcasted by 2MBS FM. As an educator, he has served as teaching assistant at both the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory and Rice University. He currently teaches a private studio in Sydney, Australia.
