Stepping though/improvising with some Iris patches from the patch pool subscription series, set no. 72 - played live on video.
Processing a sustained synth note (Diversion) with a custom MXXXCore preset, using a ring modulator and a harmonizer with a step-sequenced pitch melody (in 7/8 time-signature), the harmonizer signal is also used as the side-chain input for the ring modulator, bot signals are using tempo-synced gate sequences.
Processing some of my Groove Agent tom sounds (Colliding Worlds) with Zynaptiq Adaptiverb, video starts with “normal“ sort of reverb, then HCF filtering with a sonic footprint from one of my Chromaphone patches comes in, towards the end it gets really weird.
Jamming with a Rhodes sound (AAS Lounge Lizard 4) straight into Zynaptiq Adaptiverb using a custom preset (HCF/Hold mode) which uses a filter footprint of an Iris drone sound.
Improvising with Reaktor Skrewell and Zynaptiq Adaptiverb live on video.
Experimenting with Zynaptiq Adaptiverb focusing on the HCF (Harmonic Contour Filtering) aspect, taking a sonic footprint of an input source (various soundscapes) and then processing electronic drum hits (Tremor) with the filtered reverb type.
Experimenting with Zynaptiq Adaptiverb focusing on pitch quantization of the reverb tails.
Experimenting with Zynaptiq Adaptiverb focusing on the HCF (Harmonic Contour Filtering) aspect, taking a sonic footprint of an input source (various harp sounds) and then processing a cello with the filtered reverb type.
Experimenting with Zynaptiq Adaptiverb focusing on the HCF (Harmonic Contour Filtering) aspect, taking a sonic footprint of an input source and then processing a piano with the filtered reverb type.
Processing the field recording of an arriving train with a Kaleidoscope preset from the patchpool subscription series, further processing the resulting drone with audio effects like NI Molekular, Valhalla ÜberMod, 2CAudio B2 and accSone crusher X. Tweaked live on video.
Tutorial by Simon Stockhausen on the topic of re-synthesizing/wave-tabling a sample in PPG Wavemapper and then importing the resulting wavetables into PPG Phonem and creating a sound from scratch.
Tutorial by Simon Stockhausen, creating a patch from scratch in MeldaProduction’s MXXX plugin, explaining modulation and Macro assignments.
An MXXXCore preset combining spectral gating/compression/saturation/convolution reverb in lane 1, pitch modulation (vibrato module) in lane 2 and pitch-shifted spectral freezing/delay/reverb/chorus in lane 3 - tweaking the installed Macros on the fly, first processing a guitar/cembalo like synth sound and then proceeding with overtone singing/viola arpeggios.
