The Destined Series by Sally A. Hoedel 

Sally A. Hoedel is an award-winning author and publisher. She has a journalism degree from Michigan State University. The Destined Series by Sally A. Hoedel includes Elvis: Destined to Die Young and Destined to Fly: The Story of Pilot Ron Strauss - From Iowa to Elvis. A third book for the series is currently in the works with plans for release in 2025. As a lifelong Elvis fan, Sally has taken her passion for Elvis history and created a professional endeavor anchored in a sincere desire to restore the humanity of the legendary artist.

Destined to Die Young won the Independent Publisher Book Award for best regional nonfiction in 2021 and the Pencraft Award for best nonfiction book of 2021.
