The Come Write Inn

Pull up a stool. The Come Write Inn is a tavern for writers and worldbuilders, and the Barkeep (me, RJ Redden) has been expecting you. There's a free fantasy serial with a new chapter every Thursday, a Substack of stories by the fire, a whole world on World Anvil, and a live community, because we're even cooler in person.

Here, chapters get painted as I read them to you, one brushstroke at a time. In between, the regulars misbehave. Pumpkina confesses at the bar. Sway Slowhammer naps through each crisis. Mister Captain Regulus Proctor, Sir files forms about it. And Squawk, a parrot-run review site, rates it all in starfish.

Start with Chapter 1, Salt, free at https://comewriteinn.com. Nobody remembers boarding the ship. (Bring your own bucket. Trust me.)

The Barkeep is me (still irreplaceable, thank you). If you're watching this thinking 'how?', good. I teach exactly that at nobsai.now.
