The Nutella crumbled cake is a very sweet dessert, a variation of the classic crumbled cake, a cake made with a particular shortcrust pastry, which does not compact, but presents itself in the form of crumbs, more or less large. The crumbs are distributed on the base of the pan, these are then covered by the filling of the cake, and finally on the surface another layer of crumbs is still distributed. In cooking the crumbs will be compacted, and only a particular and characteristic appearance will remain on the whole surface of the cake.
Crumbled with Nutella was thus born as an extraction of the classic crumbled cake, which is usually prepared with a ricotta and chocolate drop filling, which in turn derives from the cake sbrisolona, a cake with a drier consistency than the previous one prepared with simple ingredients.
