Being a Ragnarian is more than being a runner, It’s a way of life; a dedication to a life of adventure, exploration and challenge. Every year more than 100,000 runners transform into Ragnarians as they take on the challenge of running long distance, overnight, team relay races, in some of the most breathtaking places in the world.
Ragnarians are known for decorating their vans and campsites, coming up with hilarious team names, ringing their cowbells loud, wearing crazy costumes, using running as a vessel to give back to charity, and doing something seriously hard, without taking themselves too seriously.
Some people run Ragnar because they weren’t sure they could do it. Some people do it because someone told them they’d never be able to. Some people are redefining their second or third acts.
