"The technology on the controller does all the work for him" 😂😂
All jokes aside, I am in no way saying my version is anywhere as clean or precise as the legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff's. I come across comments from turntable purists claiming real DJ's don't use "toy controllers". In fact one comment said, "controller DJ's can't do this" under Jeff's video and that "this is impossible to do on a toy controller". I don't claim to be a real DJ myself, but I just wanted to show that controllers don't always do the work for you. And I hope no one with a controller is ever discouraged by anyone who tells them they are inferior to anyone who uses turntables. It's not what you use, it's how you use it. Lastly, much respect to Jazzy Jeff for one of my favorite turntablist routines of all time. I took me several attempts to get this okay video compared to his countless times performing this so effortlessly.
And just to be clear, again I'm not a real DJ. The scratching is something I do for fun as a side hobby. Composing music, producing videos, and reviewing gear are my top priority.
