Deborah Fleischman directed so many wonderful stage productions at The Academy for Academics and Arts in Huntsville, Alabama (AAA). It's remarkable she was able to achieve such amazing results with her K-8 students (cast & crew) on a stage with no fly system at a school with a small enrollment. But this is no ordinary school!
Here are some examples of her exceptional plays, spanning 20 years (and counting!). We hope you enjoy them as must as we do. Presented by the Academy Children's Theatre.
These low-budget commercials were produced at WAAY-TV in Huntsville, AL during the 1970s and '80s by Carl Spurlock, who wrote, directed, narrated and acted in these spots. Love him or not (both emotions were possible simultaneously with Carl), he had talent!
