Shahriyar Jamshidi

Shahriyar Jamshidi, born 1971 Kermanshah, Bachelors of musicals from College of Art, Tehran university; has been tutored by maestros Mahmood Merati, Mojtaba Mirzadeh, Ardeshir Kamkar, Hadi Montazeri and Munis Sherifov; has had co performances with musicians such as Bahman Rajabi and groups such as Chakad. In 2003 pioneered the musical group Dilan (extracted from the name of Maestro Ghader Dilan), has held several concerts in Tehran and of the most recent once which had been held in Roodaki and Mahak Concert halls. Hes also composed and constructed Alvanati album, and performed several shows and talk-shows in KTV, Noruz and Kurdsat channels with invitations from the governing authorities of the Kurdistan district of Iraq. He has been a devotee composer and re-constructor of Kurdish music for several years and has achieved levels of high regards in transforming traditional Persian music into a new and diverse technique and therefore keeping this music animate through generations
