O.G.A. FOR AID was created to provide emergency relief after the devastating Eastern Japan Earthquake Tsunami of March 11, 2011.
Mr. Erwin Ortiz traveled to the devastated areas on March 12th to find survivors reduced to profound grief and in dire need of assistance, with little humanitarian aid.
From that moment his children, and other friends volunteered to take immediate action and to support survivors by bringing essential supplies to those in need. The first convoy of O.G.A. for Aid reached its destination a week later on March 19th 2011.
Minamisanriku chose us and since then we have dedicated our energy to bringing relief aid, and contributing to the reconstruction of a town that was almost completely swept away. O.G.A. for Aid is dedicated to supporting the communities of Minamisanriku and its surrounding areas as they work towards recovery.
