There was a massive security breach at a competitor and Sam's boss, the CIO, wants to be rid of usernames and passwords to help combat unauthorized access.
Usernames and passwords are a security problem. Multi-Factor Authentication is a safer way to give users access, but card readers or biometric scanners come at a price. Then there are mobile workers and people outside the company. Sam, the IT Admin, had to figure it out and get all the hard questions answered.
