Nerfy the Clown (pronouns StarGod or Mr StarGod)

... the Clown is an archetype long known to be sinister and uncouth, yes even unto the confounding of the adult mind and the mesmerizing of the child's; with his comically-distorted features belying athleticism which brings even the handball enthusiast to his feet in applause at that time when the Clown's prowess unleashes itself, from, apparently; nowhere on this Earth...
Less known would be the darkened corners of medieval history, where lie the Mathonic origins of Clown and his frenemy, Harlequin; whose debauched dance-foolery itself descendeth from the idolastic pageants of the  Greek and Egyptian that came before them. 
Yet, even with clown-roots so deeply in a man that he knows no past that is not hilarious and sad...
Even when that path goes through some dark places; the Lord God Almighty can find the man he wants in there and show him that: 
"God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise"
