DownEast Outdoors

Twenty years of fishing, hunting, seafood, and storytelling on North Carolina's Southern Outer Banks.

DownEast Outdoors began as a regional television show in 2006, filmed on the waters around Cape Lookout, Core Sound, and Beaufort. This channel holds that archive — the show, the fishing trips, the sounds and marshes, and the people and places that shape this coast.

Hosted and produced by Captain Bryan Goodwin, a master captain and eighth-generation Southern Outer Banks waterman. He's also the author of King Tide and The Apostle, and the songwriter behind The Coast Is Home and By Tide or Trial.
