Come out to Ingenuity Cleveland, September 28-29 to see a full 30 minute show of interactive floor dancing performed on multiple changing landscapes
Inspired by the landscapes of the warehouse space, and the theme of this year’s festival, “Future/Past” this interdisciplinary performance unfolded collaboratively under the direction of Sarah Morrison. The family characters have been inspired by Kurt Vonnegut’s short story Harrison Bergeron, though perhaps a generation before them. The performance features a Dystopian/Utopian teeter-totter through a kaleidoscopic mash-up of Pina Bausch meets Busby Burkley meets Harrison Burgeron, and if you don’t know who those folks are – you should definitely google them!
